On Thursday, February 7 at 1:30 p.m. in 207 Bradley Hall, Education Abroad at UK will host an information session on the Knowledge Exchange Institute's Griffith College program in Dublin, Ireland.
Ms. Claire Cox, International Relations Manager for Griffith College, will be presenting information about campus life at Griffith, academics, and Dublin life.
Among other academic opportunities, Griffith College has many offerings for communications, journalism, tourism and hospitality students.
KEI offers an AUTOMATIC $1,000 scholarship to UK students on its Griffith College semester program.

EA Scholarship Workshop
In collaboration with the UK Writing Center & the Office of External Scholarships,
Education Abroad at UK will host an Education Abroad Scholarship Workshop on Tuesday, February 5 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Hub of Young Library.
During this workshop, Education Abroad staff will be available to chat one-on-one with students about all things money and education abroad. Information on education abroad scholarships, cost considerations, and creative fundraising ideas will be available.
Students are encouraged to bring personal statement drafts and/or education abroad scholarship applications.
Free pizza and refreshments will be available.

Education Abroad Open House
As the last event of #blueabroad week, Education Abroad at UK will host an Open House on Friday, February 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in 315 Bradley Hall.
All students, faculty and staff are welcome. Food and refreshments will be provided.
Bluegrass Down-Under Event
As a part of #blueabroad week, on Thursday January 31 at 6:00 p.m. in the William T. Young Library Auditorium, Education Abroad at UK and The Education Abroad Network (TEAN) will host a mini Australia Info Session before showing the movie “The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.”
Scholarships will be raffled for TEAN programs. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Fine Arts Abroad
As a part of #blueabroad week, Education Abroad at UK will host a Fine Arts Abroad event on Thursday, January 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. outside room 114 in the Fine Arts Building.
At this event, Education Abroad staff and faculty from the College of Fine Arts will be available to discuss education abroad opportunities for Fine Arts students. Among other opportunities, students may learn about summer 2013 UK Sponsored programs led by College of Fine Arts faculty.
Education Abroad Spring Fair
The highlight of #blueabroad week is Education Abroad at UK’s Spring Fair on Wednesday, January 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Student Center.
This event is a one-stop-shop for all the international education opportunities at UK.
In addition to finding information and connecting with campus resources, students may find free t-shirts, a photo booth, giveaways, and, for the first 50 to check-in on Facebook, free henna tattoos.
Intern Abroad Info Session
As a part of #blueabroad week, Education Abroad at UK will host an Intern Abroad Info Session on Tuesday, January 29 at 6:00 p.m. in room 249 of the Student Center.
At this event, Education Abroad staff will highlight various international, credit-bearing internship opportunities for students in all disciplines. Among other opportunities, students may learn about summer 2013 UK Sponsored internships abroad.
