The Kentucky Institute for International Studies (KIIS) is a non-profit consortium of colleges and universities. Consortium members include many colleges and universities from the Kentucky region. KIIS welcomes students from any academic institution in the United States and Canada to participate in its study abroad programs.
Four UK professors are teaching summer 2013 KIIS courses:
- Dr. Anita Lee-Post, from Gatton, is teaching International Business & International Management on the KIIS Austria-Bregenz program
- Professor Brandon Smith, from the College of Fine Arts, will teach Drawing I & Drawing II on the KIIS Experience Barcelona program
- Dr. Evan, from the Patterson School of Diplomacy, will teach two Economics courses on the KIIS Experience Chile program
- Jeorge Sauer, from the College of Arts & Sciences, will teach two French courses on the KIIS Experience Paris II program
- Dr. Karen Patrone, from the College of Arts & Sciences, will teach an Eastern European History course on the KIIS Experience Slavic Europe program
